How is laser therapy done?
Laser Hair Removal is a procedure that works by targeting the melanin in your hair follicles with pulsed light energy. The Laser destroys the root, while causing no damage to the surrounding skin. Laser Hair Removal systems are designed to permanently reduce hair over a series of treatments. It takes minimum 6-10 treatments usually spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart depending on the area. What you’re left with is smooth skin free of unwanted hair.
Does Laser Therapy hurt?
Absolutely not! You can relax while we work. Laser hair removal is very tolerable even for the most sensitive of skins. Both of our technologies have built in cooling systems and in some cases, a cooling gel that helps the machine glide across the skin and eases any potential discomfort. The best part about the procedure is the results and you won’t be disappointed!
How long does the process take?
Depending on the area you are having lasered, the time you spend in the chair can be anywhere from fifteen minutes to an hour. To give you an idea of how the procedure works, each pulse from the laser takes a fraction of a second and can treat many hairs at the same time. You’ll be done before you know it!
Will my hair grow back?
Most clients will see a permanent reduction of hair after six to ten sessions. Laser hair removal is not 100% because we can develop new hair follicles over time, related to hormone changes etc.. You will not grow all your hair back, just a small percentage which can be removed with touch up treatments if required.
